Pastoral Counseling is offered at All Pilgrims in partnership with Katie Stickney, a licensed psychotherapist and an ordained minister in the United Methodist Church.
Her role as clergy in the United Methodist Church is to act as a bridge between the church and the world, serving in the church while also engaging in ministries of compassion and justice out in the world. She works with organizations such as the Recovery Café, The Mental Health Chaplaincy, and Occupy Seattle Chaplains to provide mental health support to Seattle’s most vulnerable residents.
Katie has a counseling practice at Redmond United Methodist Church, but is available for counseling at All Pilgrims Christian Church. Katie provides individual and couples counseling, with a sliding fee scale and flexible hours (including evenings and weekends).
Her specialties include grief and loss, transitions, life purpose, trauma and PTSD, spiritual issues, gender and sexuality, depression and anxiety, and managing addictions and other mental health issues. Katie welcomes all persons to her office, regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, economic circumstance, or any other status.
