Greg longs to know people and creation according to God’s vision, where love weaves the tapestry of a just and peaceful world in which all live abundant, full lives in love with God, others, and themselves. Embracing and celebrating the dignity and worth of all people, Greg passionately joins his thirst for justice and spiritual formation and transformation. This is grounded in, among other things, what he’s been saying for years, “God loves you and there’s nothing you can do about it.”

Greg has served urban congregations for many years, most recently in South Central Los Angeles. Among other thing, there he continued his ministry to gang involved folks, starting a micro-enterprise job program, the Exodus Urban Academy, and partnering with Coach Pete Carroll, now of the Seahawks, in starting A Better LA. Greg is graduate of Brite Divinity School of Texas Christian University with a Master of Divinity.

Greg has published articles, educational material, and a chapter in a book about faith and politics that comes out this year. Having consistently provided leadership at local, regional/conference, and national manifestations of the church, with great humility and joy, he is buoyant with hope as he looks forward.
