Rev. Elder Troy Perry, founder of the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches (MCC) will be the keynote speaker. The MCC is considered the first Christian church organization created specifically to meet the spiritual needs of gay Christians. Founded in 1968, Troy risked his life to establish and nurture a worship home for GLBT people who want to openly serve God in a Christian context, but who otherwise might be rejected elsewhere.
