Support Black-Owned Businesses

November 5, 2021
Fellow Pilgrims,

Thanks to all who provided input for putting a name to our antiracist efforts at All Pilgrims. Like many of you, I’ve only recently realized something that people of color have known all along…that The Work of eliminating systemic racism from our society is far from complete.

So naming our efforts accordingly strikes me as a good way of honoring Dr. King and so many others who fought for what we have yet to attain.

I have several topic ideas incubating for upcoming versions of the APCC newsletter, but if there is something, in particular, you would like to see covered please send me an email at marentetteL@yahoo.com.

In the meantime, the holidays will be here before we know it, and with them the stress (for me at least) of finding “just the right gift” for each of our friends and family. This is an opportunity to live out our antiracist principles by supporting businesses owned by members of the Black, Indigenous, and People of Color community. I’ve listed some ideas below, but feel free to send me others for inclusion in next week’s newsletter.
