Since 1984, Seattle Area Support Groups (SASG) has served as a bedrock of healing and community for the LGBTQ community. SASG, formerly Seattle AIDS Support Group, began as a safe-haven for gay men dying of AIDS. Today, SASG has transformed into a place of recovery, courage, and friendship for countless Seattleites, gay and straight, looking to cultivate a better life. Last week, it was announced that after more than 25 years on Capitol Hill, SASG would not be permitted to renew its lease. With the leadership of Executive Director Josh Wallace, the recovery community has committed to raising funds for a new SASG on Capitol Hill! However, without your support, our efforts may not be enough. We need your help. Please visit our website at sasgcc.org to learn how to donate and help us continue serving the LGBTQ community in Seattle. Also, please feel free to visit us at 303 17th Avenue East, on the corner of 17th and Thomas, or contact us at 206-322-2437 to learn firsthand about what SASG has to offer.
