After just over a year of weekly Thursday meals, the Community Supper served its ten-thousandth meal in May! The number of guests continues to grow, and we set another record in May when we served over 150 guests at a single supper. With great volunteers and the new freezer in the basement, we have been able to keep up with the increased demand. To view more action photos of Community Supper, click here.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the Community Lunch spring fundraiser this year. Together we raised over $22,000 between our live event and online auction. Thanks to David Anstine for all his hard work putting the event at All Pilgrims together. And special thanks to The Shed Boys for their great live music. They also donated all CD sales that evening to our meal program!

Do you know of a high school or college student who would like to intern with us this summer?
These are unpaid positions but we will provide lots of experience about how non-profits work and it will look great on your resume!
During the summer, interns will receive a food handlers permit,
attend a session on companionship training and conflict de-escalation
as well as learn about the issues confronting homeless and low-income people in Seattle.
1 or 2 days a week is all that is required. Vacation time off is fine.
